Building Codes

Because Kansas and Missouri are home rule states, the responsibility for adoption and enforcement of building codes lies with local jurisdictions.
Many jurisdictions have adopted either the 2015 or 2018 versions - with or without amendments - of the ICC Codes.  Always verify specific code requirements
within any jurisdiction before beginning work.
