Does Kansas Require a Roofing License?
Although Kansas requires roofing contractors to register with the state of Kansas, Kansas does not have a state-wide roofing license requirement. However, many cities and counties have their own requirements, including ICC or other testing requirements. You may also be required to register with the State of Kansas for revenue purposes. Following is a non-exhaustive list of locations with links to specific requirements. Check with local authorities prior to initiating any work.
